9:10 a.m. I arrived on campus and I turned on the main valve.
9:12 a.m. I began filling up the dam so that the second half of the riling section can get watered. As the main dam was filling up I ran a couple siphons tubes on the first half of the the rills because they were a little dry.
9:50 a.m. I begin to add a couple siphons on the second half of the riling section. At this time the main dam is full so I turn off the valve and turn on sprinklers.  In addition to this I wanted to make sure that the second portion of the riling section received water so I ran two hoes and turned on sprinklers.
11:50 a.m. I'm back out in the field getting ready to sample water. I have brought a total of six centrifuge tubes to collect water. Three of them will be samples from the main dam and the other three will be samples collected from the drainage.
12:00 p.m. I finished collecting samples from the drainage.
12:06 p.m. I'm walking over to the lab to put samples in the refrigerator to preserve.
12:43 p.m. I'm going to have to leave at 2:00 p.m. today so I will be turning off main valve.
12:43 p.m. Corn looks great I took measurements of about four samples from the riling section each one was about 3-4 cm. \
2:00 p.m. I will be going to Walmart to search for Gardening filter fabric for my pots. It has been a progressive day so and can not wait for Monday to come so I can begin my part of the project.
